We would like to offer all of our patients, new, past and present our best wishes and hopes that you and your loved ones remain safe and well throughout these testing and difficult times.
The covid-19 virus has swept through the world and touched many people and their extended family and we take time to pray and bless each person affected. We are in awe of the strength and courage showed by frontline workers and people across the nation, what a wonderful country we live in. We support the NHS clap and pay tribute to all NHS staff who are fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
There was great expectation in anticipation for the Prime Ministers address to the nation on Sunday evening, however the content seems to have left many confused and unsettled.
What we do know is that social distancing works and measures put in place have had a positive effect on admissions and those infected. We must continue this.
As well as our concerns about interaction with family and friends, at Red Rose Desire we are keen to find out when a degree of normality can start to return so that we can once more see patients, undertake consultations and work on future transformations, which is what we do best.
It is clear from the high number of calls and surgery enquiries that you too are keen for clarity and to move forward. We are not yet in a position to reopen the clinics and undertake direct contact with you – even if we were to engage in social distancing, however, we are working with and taking advice from professionals to ensure we know when the right time is.
As we prepare for our return, we consider the requirements of social distancing within the clinics and high standards of cleanliness. We are very fortunate that our clinics have great space and we very much look forward to the time when we can once more welcome you.
In the meantime, we can offer online communication/surgery advice as well as the opportunity for you to discuss your thoughts with any of our medical staff. We are available on the phone, via online chat or by email, which means if you have any questions about a particular procedure please reach out to us, we are here for you.

There is no better example of how surgery can change someone’s life more than breast reduction surgery. Life changing, for it changes how the patient looks, but more so, how the patient feels.
There are daily struggles attached to having larger breasts, ones, which are physical, and ones, which are mental. Breasts come in all shapes and sizes and often the size we get is not the size we want – or the size we can manage. Often the size is disproportionate to ones chest size or causes hunched shoulders and back pain. There is a solution, and we are here to help you if you are finding these daily struggles too much.

We see patients who have struggled with a larger, heavier breast for some time and it has resulted over the years in hunched shoulders and a lower self-confidence, perhaps many people noticing their breasts before their eyes. Perhaps they may have suffered with ongoing pains, back, shoulders and even shortness of breath, but have gone on without looking for solutions or a way to relieve this stress to their body.
We also see patients who have not had larger breasts all their lives and perhaps have struggled through school with little or nothing until suddenly they have experienced rapid growth, a cup size each year resulting in a larger breast which is not proportionate to their body shape.
We hear of these women having trouble sleeping, perhaps not able to get comfortable and spending much time tossing and turning to find a better position during the night.
Some talk about shortness of breath and a battle with straps weighing down on their shoulders – many having to choose thick, ugly looking bras to offer the maximum amount of support.
Very often we hear from patients who are keen to increase their fitness and struggle because of the size of their breast to stay active, which can also cause a deeper issue with weight gain and wellbeing.
Both cases are treated in the same way; ultimately, surgery can reduce the cup size of the breast, leaving a size that fits the individual and is tailored to their body shape.
Patients who have undergone a breast reduction feel pleased with the recovery times due to advancements made in incision methods, and technique. Our breast specialist surgeons are highly skilled and can offer the most advanced surgical techniques. While there is some discomfort, it only lasts a matter of days and most patients are up and moving around well, with the reduced size and benefit being felt immediately. Patients will need to wear a surgical support bra for up to 6 weeks, but regular activities (minus exercise) can resume within a week or two.

You may be nervous, but you are not alone.

Our team are gentle, calm and professionally trained to guide you through your treatment, with minimal intervention and maximum care. We are with you every step of the way.
We appreciate what it is like to be a nervous patient. We have seen a number of patients from all lifestyles, who feel nervous about various stages. That initial consultation, the first meeting, or even the run up to the surgery itself. Your health is important and it is understandable that people feel anxious about surgery, and hospitals. We welcome nervous and anxious patients and we recommend you see us many times, if indeed, to make sure you are happy and satisfied.
We are happy to offer longer appointment slots for anyone who would like more time and multiple treatments. Our aim is to offer patient-focussed team care, without judgement, and at a pace chosen by you.
Anxiety also becomes a problem if it makes it harder to understand and remember important things you are told about the operation, such as advice about how to prepare for it or about recovering afterwards. We ensure our team talk through this important information carefully, slowly, and more than once if needed.
Our team will also recommend relaxation techniques such as breathing exercises; meditation or muscle relaxation, which they know, can be helpful.
We are here for you every step of the way.

Nose Reshaping Rhinoplasty (nose job) is a procedure chosen by patients of all ages, and by both male and females. It is considered a surgery for both cosmetic and medical purposes, and can offer immediate, temporary, quite dramatic results for the right candidate.
The surgery can bring dramatic change and a better facial balance to those who are unhappy with their nose, even if there has been a facial knock or trauma previously.
We often see patients who dislike the nose they were naturally given, but equally we see many who have suffered a past injury, and are longing for a nose they once had. Both are possible with nose reshaping (rhinoplasty) surgery, and can offer a real dramatic change to your profile.
Rhinoplasty is all about balance and this means that each surgery result is different to the next. The surgeon is skilled in facial surgery and will need to analyse your face shape, your nose size and placement. Rhinoplasty procedures can produce life-changing results and offer many patients an increase in confidence and self-esteem.
What can Rhinoplasty do for me?
Change your profile.
The change can be subtle, or it can be more dramatic. During your first consultation with our facial surgeon, you will discuss the changes and your expectations. The procedure is tailored to you, and can reduce the width of your nose, bumps and lines, or adjust the tip. The results are all up to you.
Boost self-image.
Facial surgery offers an outcome that is visible to all, so the outcome is important for you and your confidence. Unlike other surgeries, rhinoplasty lasts a lifetime, and you can enjoy an improved profile, to keep you feeling more confident about your face and every aspect of your life, socially and at work/home.
Instant change.
You can get a good idea of the new size and shape immediately. There will be some swelling and the area will be tender, however, the changes will be there, for you to enjoy.

You can view images of patients who have had nose reshaping surgery here and also discuss your concerns further with our facial surgeon. We advise you come along for a free consultation, to discuss your expecations and find out what can be done. I think you will be amazed at the results. To schedule your appointment click here.

It is easy for us to get lost in the day-to-day running of a busy cosmetic surgery clinic.
Currently operating from four main clinics across the North West of England, we are seeing more patients than ever before. Each week we hold weekly consultations with our registered surgeons, so that patients have the opportunity to discuss (more than once if needed) with an expert doctor, their hopes, fears and expectations, while they are considering surgery and the right options. Our surgeons are talented, skilled and highly experienced.
It is a busy time, as we welcome many patients through our Manchester, Bolton, Warrington and Preston clinics and guide each patient through their own personal surgery journey. It is very much a hand held service, starting right from that first consultation, up to that last appointment, when our patient feels ready and happy to begin their next chapter. We often find ourselves dashing from consultations to aftercare appointments, meeting with the nurse team and talking support bras! We would not have it any other way.
It is only when we pause for a moment and take time to read through the feedback and reviews left by our patients or look back at some of the life-changing transformations, we take on the enormity of what our job here is. It is life-changing and we feel truly blessed to be involved in such an incredible part of someones life.

You see, we are not just consultants, surgeons, nurses and clinicians; we are a team, a family who facilitate life-changing decisions, and a trusted place where patients reach out to change their self-image and the first step to their journey.
We enjoy meeting new faces and new people, all different and going through different stages of life. Often we see enhanced confidence immediately; other times it comes later. What we know, is that our patients leave happy, they leave with an extra spring in their step and they leave knowing that we are always there for them, and that there is no limits to our care.
Our feedback and reviews make us proud and are the heart of our business, because happy patients mean, we are getting it right. We are overjoyed with the way out patients feel and the care we have provided, knowing it has had such a profound impact on their confidence and their life. We set out to offer a tailored cosmetic approach, one where each patient can work with an expert and achieve enhancements they themselves are proud of.
We have recently won the Platinum Trusted Service Award from Feefo, which is an honour and delight. We are thrilled to have achieved this award each year, for the last three years and will continue to make service and care our number one priority.

If you read our feedback and reviews, I know you will agree that patient care is what we are, and what we get right. The incredible transformations are the icing on the cake.

Surgical procedures have for a long time been an option available to both men and women struggling with certain areas of their body or shape. Over time, however, the areas being treated, and how, vary as advances in medicine changes, and improves.
Now there is so much more choice in specialist surgeries, and this allows you to consider a more tailored, specialist, solution, rather than a one size fits all approach, which has too often be offered in the past.Offering a range of procedures to enhance and shape your body, gives you a number of options, once you decide it is the right time.
Surgery is not for all; however, for those who are looking to transform areas of their bodies, working with a cosmetic surgery you can trust is essential when starting your surgery journey.
