Mr Mohammad Amir Sharif with his highly skilled and extensive medical portfolio has worked with us at Red Rose Desire for quite some time, providing our breast patients with breast specialty high quality surgery and care, along with help, guidance and medical trust. Qualifications
MBBS, FRCS, FRCS (Gen). Qualified in 1985.
Mr Sharif has performed high quality surgery and care for many of our patients. For some women, breast augmentation is breast reconstruction, or augmentation, both Mr Sharif is skilled at. As a Consultant Breast/General Surgeon Mr Sharif spent three years in major breast centres in Manchester where he consolidated his oncological surgical skills in breast surgery.
His subspecialty interest includes the management of benign and malignant breast diseases.
Meet Elaine, our head nurse, specialising in post-surgery aftercare.
Elaine is often referred to as our ‘angel’ , our special post operative nurse, who swoops down and heads up our team who takes care of all of our patients pre-operatively.
Acting under the instructions of your operating surgeon, Elaine is a specialist at surgical after-care and has many many many years of experience, with all types of surgery and aftercare. Your aftercare is led by our experienced nursing team, you are in safe hands.

Meet out patient who recently underwent Breast Reduction Surgery at The First Trust Hospital in Preston, Lancashire with our expereinced breast specialist surgeon Mr Ashley Topps. During our first consultation with our patient, we learned that our patient had been considering breast reduction surgery for a very long time, and was struggling not only with the weight and the size of each breast, but also with the appearance of herself when wearing clothes and swimsuits etc. Our patient was feeling down and unhappy with the size of her breasts and experienced pain and discomfort each day, when doing regular and simple tasks and could not join in with any physical activities. She was looking for a new self-image, a chest that could change her life and a wardrobe which she could embrace and enjoy.
The surgery went well, there was some swelling and pain initially, but with rest and care, our patient was able to heal quite nicely.

How do we start, and what can I expect?
There are many ways of booking a complimentary consultation with us. You can call one of our very friendly experienced co-ordinators or contact us through our website where a member of our team will give you a call at a time convenient for you or if you’d prefer, liaise by email.
Attend your private consultation with one of our experienced surgeons and a member of our team, to find out more about the procedure, the risks involved, the expected results, recovery, scarring etc. They can also answer any questions you may have.
We know cosmetic surgery is a big step and we appreciate you may want to take time to do more research and think about your decision. This is why the surgeon works with a 14-day ‘cooling off’ period.
After taking your time and then deciding you’d like to proceed, a member of our experienced team will be on hand to book a surgery date with you. In order for us to do this we will need an initial deposit of 20% of the overall cost of your procedure.
After confirming your surgery date, you will meet with our very experienced nurse Elaine for your pre-operative assessment, which will vary depending on the specific procedure you are having. Elaine will also be with you every step of your journey.
Your cosmetic surgery procedure will go ahead at one of our dedicated private hospitals.
After your procedure, you will receive a wound check approximately 5-7 days later. Nurse Elaine will also be there to answer any questions you may have and ensuring you have no concerns since being discharged.
Now it’s time to attend your post-operative 6 week check with your surgeon. A member of the team will be in touch to arrange this appointment with you a few weeks after your procedure. This will be at one of our clinic locations best suited to you.
