- Our patient co-ordinators are on hand during a new patient phone call to get to know you and learn more about your expectations, that way they can match you with the best suited surgeon.
An appointment is made at a mutually convenient time and is always complimentary.
- Your first consultation will be thorough, and is aimed at providing you with all of the information you need to make the right choices. You will speak with both a specialist surgeon of the relevant specialty and our treatment co-ordinator. You will also complete a medical history document and we will take photographs and relevant information to complement our assessments.
- Discussing your treatment options and considering your options, we can also show you before and after photos of similar cases and shapes/size.
A second consultation is often required for patients who have further questions or queries, or need to discuss, consider their options further. This can be booked in at any time.
Pre-Operative Assessment
Following your consultation and with the decision to move forward with your procedure, a medical test is arranged to ensure you are a fit and healthy candidate for surgery. It also allows us to identify any potential risks prior to surgery.
Booking Surgery
We ask for a 14-day cooling off period before we go ahead and book/confirm your surgery date.
Our surgeons are in theatre most days and so you can expect to wait no more than 2- 4 weeks for your procedure to take place. This is always booked in at a time suitable for you. Throughout this time, we will be available any time of day, any day of the week, at the other end of the phone, to make sure you have all the information you need.
Naturally, all that is discussed and agreed is documented in writing.

There are many reasons women today look at breast enlargement to enhance their natural body shape; loss of breast tissue volume after weight loss, the effects of childbirth and breastfeeding or simply to add balance and create a symmetrical breast shape. Breast augmentation today offers many new options for your breast cosmetic surgery and here at Red Rose Desire we are keen to help you achieve the natural breast enhancement look you desire to help improve your self-confidence and body image.
Subtle and naturally you
In the past, breast implants were seen as creating a ‘wow factor’ with dramatic results by using larger sized implants. Today, we find that the majority of our ladies are looking for a subtle or natural looking breast enhancement; their goal is for a smooth and natural look to emphasise their own natural breast shape.
Where once a surgeon would put in a similar size in each patient, we are now able to discuss and measure and work with a size that is a perfect fit for you and your body/curves.
Implant shape and size options
Changes and improvements to implants available has increased radically in recent years. Natural looking implant options are a very current trend and at Red Rose Desire we can provide implant options to fit your shape and size. We often see ladies opting for one or two bra sizes up, this is enough for them, a natural look and enhancing feel.
Teardrop implants are designed to mimic the natural breast shape. As the name suggests the implants are shaped like a teardrop with more fullness in the lower half of the implant; creating a smooth tapered contour of the breast, gently sloping from the breastbone to the nipple. Teardrop implants are a very popular choice and are perfect for ladies looking to enhance their existing breast tissue and would like a more natural look to their breast augmentation.
Round implants can also achieve a natural appearance to your breast augmentation if you already have existing breast tissue and are looking for a fuller or curvier look, emphasising the natural shape that you already have. The type and shape of implants you choose can make a real difference to the outcome of your surgery. At your initial consultation we will work together to create a customised plan for your cosmetic surgery to enable to you to achieve the subtle, natural look you are hoping for.
Both teardrop and round implants are available in silicone gel option. The breakthrough technology used to make silicone gel implants is a strong and safe option with the implant remaining soft and has a very natural feel to the touch.
Techniques
In addition to implant options there are also various surgical techniques and incision options available to help reduce scaring and increase the natural look to your surgery. We want our patients to enjoy the benefits of life-changing cosmetic surgery without the downside of noticeable scarring, so this is a very important part of the choices we will discuss at your initial consultation with us.
For minimal scaring techniques to be effective, the incision is made where the skin has an existing fold, for example, an incision made under the breast at the top of the rib cage, allows the breast itself to cover any scarring from the incision point. Another option is crescent breast augmentation, here the incision is made near the nipple, in a half moon shape. Incisions made to the nipple area also creates minimal visible scarring that fades and blends into the areola over time. A crescent shaped incision made along the top half of your areola (nipple area) in each breast which is ideal for a breast lift and breast augmentation as at the incision point excess skin can be removed and an implant can be inserted to create a naturally uplifted, fuller and youthful looking breast.
Less is more

With the wide variety of choice and options available today it is possible to balance a natural looking curvaceous figure and healthy, active lifestyle to improve your body proportions and give your self-confidence and body image a fabulous boost with a natural, smooth and subtle cosmetic surgery procedure.
The expert surgeons at Red Rose Desire have a wealth of experience and understanding of the latest breast enhancement techniques and trends, along with knowledge of the surgical options available today, ensures that we will help you can achieve the natural looking outcome you are looking for.

Asking the right questions prepares you for your procedure, and allows you to get the best from your surgery and your surgeon. It is always a good idea when in research stage to arm yourself with a list of questions covering topics you do not understand or need to know more about.
We advise patients to write these down, that way when you meet with your surgeon during your consultation; you are ready and are less likely to forget.
Your surgeon will always give you the most accurate, medical explanation, which is important when deciding which procedure is best for you. Whether it is
breast enlargement surgery,
breast reduction surgery or
breast re-augmentation, we are here to answer any thoughts, or queries you might have to allow you to feel fully prepared and safe in the knowledge that your breast specialist
surgeon team has recommended the right procedure to fit your surgery goals.
We know how important it is that you fully understand what the procedure involves, the benefits and risks, the aftercare included and the results. We pride ourselves in getting to know you so that your results are unique to you.
The three most popular questions are:
How do I choose which implants are best for me?
Working alongside your surgeon, you can discuss and agree the best plan for you. We offer a number of different kinds of
breast implants options, each offering different profiles, shape and size.
Your surgeon is responsible for highlighting the features of the implants on offer and matching the perfect one for you.
How long do breast implants last?
Although breast implants are not designed to last forever, they can last quite a number of years. Guidelines suggest that breast implants should be removed and replaced after around 10 years, if nothing else in the body has changed. These guidelines vary from supplier to supplier.
Naturally as bodies change, many women opt for re-augmentation surgery before 10 years, and others want to make size or shape changes too.
Who decides on the size of implant?
Each breast procedure is tailored, and not one will be the same as another.
It is important to understand that your body type, your height and your weight are factors, which will affect which size is most suitable for you.
Ultimately, your desired breast shape and expected size is an important factor and will allow your surgeon to understand your desires, matching the right implant to you.
We want you to feel in control, and will allow you to work with the surgeon to create a plan and a look that is perfect for you.
Other question worth asking:
The only way to understand fully what the procedure entails, and for the most accurate medical information, is to come along and meet with our surgeon team. Book a
free consultation here, at a date and time which is convenient for you, in either;
Preston,
Manchester,
Bolton or
Warrington. We look forward to welcoming you with open arms.

Breast surgery for everyone – the same shape, and size; one size fits all!
If that were our marketing slogan, would you consider it?
Many ask…Is this possible?
Do you feel satisfied with one fit, one size?
Perhaps you could call it…off the shelf breast implants!
What if you could choose an implant size that fits YOU, and your body shape?
What if chest measurements, your shoulders and back meant a different fit?
What if you were the only one who had breasts like you?
Your breast size is most often determined by your genes and your hormones, which has taken into account your frame, weight and size. This means that for most, breast size is proportionate to body shape– however for a few; their breast shape is out of proportion; perhaps they have larger breasts that are heavy and hanging, or very small breasts, both, which can cause real discomfort and loss of confidence.
If you suffer with your breast size, don’t settle for ‘off the shelf breast implants’ or ‘one size fits all’ explore a tailored fit, a size of implant which is matched to you and your frame/body shape…a result as unique as you are.
Red Rose Desire’s real slogan: Patient Centred Surgery.
What does this mean? Our breast specialist team are experienced and passionate about your result and the clinical care on offer, working only with personalised plans for each individual. No one result will ever be the same, this is about you and your journey, one that is unique and only for you.

Your surgeon is always on hand, happy to answer your questions, talk about your procedure and aftercare, offer transparent medical advice and offers a promise to always provide the highest quality of care.
Please note that your surgeon will be realistic about the result you can achieve, the shape and size and the recovery and will never give you false hope or the promise of a result, which may not be possible.
You are not just paying for a result –
Our commitment to offering surgery that is tailored to you, using only the finest surgeons and highest standard of care to give you the assurance that we are always there for you every step of the way, during and after your surgery.

We understand that having breast surgery is a big decision and that there is great planning involved beforehand, especially when trying to decide which surgeon is the right one for you.
Here we discuss how our patients can start by considering a breast surgeon best suited to them. One of the points we discuss most often is the tailored surgery approach, yes I know, we bang on about this often because it is at the heart of what we do. It is important for our patients to know that each person is treated like an individual, their breast surgery is about them, with results as unique as they are.
That said, each surgeon works in a slightly different way, and their results show this. We want to ensure you find the perfect surgeon, one you have met, feel comfortable around and trust will deliver your transformation. We work with some of the most skilled surgeons in the North West, and feel confident we can help you find your perfect match. What else can you consider?
Qualifications
Be sure to understand how each surgeon has been trained and what qualifications they have. They may be members of professional organisations such as BAAPS and BAPRAS.
Specialist Surgeons and Experience
We are always happy for you to view the surgeons CV, and to ask questions about their experience, training and specialist expertise. We know that for surgeons, each day they keep learning and over their careers develop more and more experience in their chosen field.
Reviews
We encourage you to take time to read through our patient real reviews, these have been sent in by real patients who have often described and commented on their surgeon and the work they have done. Understanding how others feel, others who have been through a similar journey is always helpful when doing your research. Often our patients leave before and after images too, which can give you a good understanding of the results you can expect. You can also take a look at some of our patient spotlight stories, which detail specific surgery journeys and inspirational stories.
Meeting and feeling comfortable
Please take your time with this, meeting your surgeon is a big deal, and one we always insist on. Come along for a complimentary consultation with your chosen surgeon, or more than one surgeon if you wish. There is no pressure, we want you to feel confident and comfortable you have made the right choice. We encourage questions and your surgeon will take the time to give you all the answers you need.
We hold clinics with the breast surgeons in Preston, Bolton, Warrington and Manchester regularly
and can organise a one to one appointment at a time convenient for you. Get in touch to request the next dates.
After Care
Will this be done with the surgeon? With a different team? Is it included?
