Patient care during surgery is important to us.

Patient care during surgery is important to us.

The moment you start your journey with us, is the moment you’ll also start working with our wonderful aftercare team which is lead by Cosmetic Surgery Nurse
Elaine, who acts under the instructions of your operating surgeon and is a specialist in surgical after-care. Elaine has over 40 years’ experience in this field and is trusted,
professional, and highly skilled and accomplished. Her team is just as exceptional as she is, and you’ll feel protected and cared for from the moment you meet them.

During The Op
Our wonderful nursing team will be there on the day to assist the surgeon, but also to ensure that you’re ok physically and mentally. Perhaps you’ve got
more questions to be answered, perhaps you’re feeling cold, and they can get you warming garments. Whatever you need on the day, they will be there for you, right by your side.

Pre Op Care
In case you missed asking questions in the consultation/s, or maybe you’ve thought of others afterwards; you can call
our dedicated team and ask any questions, big or small, in order to put your mind at ease and ensure that you have all the
information you need before your op. We always want to make sure that you are going into the surgery confidently, knowledgeable and fully informed.

Post Op Care
We encourage all patients to make use of our Red Rose Desire leading aftercare service, a service we are known for and that we are extremely
proud of. In your initial consultation, your surgeon will have given you an idea of recovery expectations for your body and surgery specifically, and after
the operation they will go through your own personalised recovery and aftercare programme with you.

Surgery Aftercare

When our bodies go through surgery of any kind, they all take different timeframes and methods to heal and settle in. This can be dependent on many factors including type of surgery, health, age, skin type, whether you smoke / drink and so on. Post op and during the healing process, you’ll have all the information on how to care for and clean your insertions, with specific medical dos and don’ts and guidelines from your surgeon. However, it’s very common and normal for you to wonder if something is OK, not healing correctly, or is a cause for concern. This is where our aftercare is essential. Being able to call and hear a reassuring, experienced voice to
let you know that something is typical, can help your body and mind feel at ease, so you can concentrate on recovery without any apprehensions.

Our nurses and dedicated recovery team are specialists in their fields, and are highly competent, trained and most importantly caring and empathetic.
Remember that recovery after surgery takes time and patience. Try to take moments to yourself and pay attention to how you’re feeling both physically and mentally. Be kind to yourself and don’t push too hard or
too fast. Reach out to friends and family if you need help with childcare, shopping, food or dressing and of course reach out to us whenever you need to. We do this daily; we know what you are going through and therefore can offer our expertise, assurance, and advice. We are with you and here for you, every step of the way throughout your journey with us, and beyond.

What will 2024 bring for you?

What will 2024 bring for you?

Often we hear the saying, a New Year, a New YOU!

New Year Cosmetic SurgeryHow true is this for you?  Do you have great plans, goals, motivations, or is this a time for some self-reflection, a time of understanding what has been and gone… and what is yet to come…perhaps it is a time to consider what is stopping you from feeling your very best self.

With cold and dark mornings, we hear you…motivation is tough right now – however taking the time to think about any changes to your routine, or lifestyle, those small steps to increase small moments of joy, can make the world of difference.  Think more about it as an enhancement, an alternative way of doing something, so to get the best out of your day and allow for you to be your true self.

We hear (at all times of the year) over and over again that CONFIDENCE and the boost, or lift, is what our patients enjoy the most following their cosmetic surgery procedure. That when you feel good, you confidence lifts and it makes for a happier and contented person, who is feeling good in their own skin!

Our patients talk so much about this new boost in their confidence, which not only has an impact on how they feel about themselves, but also how they feel around others, how they feel when they are naked, and also after undergoing breast, face or body procedures, generally most often how they feel more about themselves.

This is our best bit too, our reason for doing what we do – seeing patients skip (not literally) out of the clinic, feeling all brand new, means we have done our job, that job of creating a unique and tailored experience which is special and safe.  Our approach to cosmetic surgery is unique to you, we do not offer the same surgery twice, just as your body is different, so – we genuinely believe should be your surgery.  This has to be about how you feel, not just about how you look.

We love to share our patient stories, incredible before-and-after transformations with you and have a whole patient gallery of over 2000 patient procedures to show you how unique and individual our cosmetic surgery is. If you have thought about it for the first time, or have already had surgery,  we are here to guide you through with a supportive ear, and offer you a hand-held service which is as unique as you are.

Begin your cosmetic journey with us by booking in to a FREE consultation with our surgeons and care team; we are here for you every step of the way.

Delicious Treats to show you how much we care…

Delicious Treats to show you how much we care…

We understand that following your surgery with us, you will want to take some time out from life duties to heal and rest, and to recover from your operation.

Chocolate treats

Our comprehensive aftercare package is an enormous part of our promise to you, and is the time that we are here to ensure you heal and recover in the best possible way.  Following your surgery you will be taking some time out to rest, and as our way of saying thank you, please expect a little goody bag in the post to enjoy – our treat!  This homemade baked treat is provided by a local baker who produces the most delicious, fresh and tasty cakes and we would very much love your feedback if you enjoy them as much as we do!

Aftercare Surgery TreatsRemind yourself that this part is only short term.  Some of our patients report feeling a little uncomfortable in the immediate aftermath of surgery, however, most return to light duties within days and many report going back to work after 1-2 weeks; although your surgeon and nurse care team will discuss this in more detail as it could take several weeks or months to make a complete recovery, depending on your body and which surgery you had.

Our nursing care team have more than 40 years of combined experience in cosmetic surgery aftercare and will always be on hard to assess your recovery and answer any questions you might have on side effects, feelings or appearances during this time.

Nurse Elaine has decades of experience and will be on call throughout your recovery so if you have any questions between follow-up appointments, please do get in touch.  Rest assured, our team have the expertise and experience to help guide and support you on your journey, and want you to know that they are with you every step of the way, for as long as it is needed.

Enjoy your treats, it is our little thank you from us.

-Breast Enlargement  Feedback from Aimee Bond 20 December 2023
I want to say a MASSIVE ‘Thank You’ to everyone at Red Rose Desire for how helpful, polite and kind they have all been. From my first email exchanges with Georgina who was prompt and informative, to then meeting her and Mr Sharif, who was so calm and made me feel instantly comfortable. Also, my nurse Elaine who is such a lovely person and nothing is too much trouble. Finally, not to forget all the staff at The Pines Hospital where I had my surgery, I was well looked after. I have wanted breast surgery for over 10 years and was really anxious about going through with the procedure but I am more than happy that I chose Red Rose Desires and I’m delighted with the results! I received a lovely little box of cakes when I was recovering too, what a thoughtful thing to do! Thanks again Red Rose!

Attend your private consultation with one of our experienced surgeons and a member of our team, to find out more about the procedure, the risks involved, the expected results, recovery, scarring etc. They can also answer any questions you may have.

We know cosmetic surgery is a big step and we appreciate you may want to take time to do more research and think about your decision. This is why the surgeon works with a 14-day ‘cooling off’ period.

After taking your time and then deciding you’d like to proceed, a member of our experienced team will be on hand to book a surgery date with you. In order for us to do this we will need an initial deposit of 20% of the overall cost of your procedure.

After confirming your surgery date, you will meet with our very experienced nurse Elaine for your pre-operative assessment, which will vary depending on the specific procedure you are having. Elaine will also be with you every step of your journey.

Your cosmetic surgery procedure will go ahead at one of our dedicated private hospitals.

After your procedure, you will receive a wound check approximately 5-7 days later. Nurse Elaine will also be there to answer any questions you may have and ensuring you have no concerns since being discharged.

Now it’s time to attend your post-operative 6 week check with your surgeon. A member of the team will be in touch to arrange this appointment with you a few weeks after your procedure. This will be at one of our clinic locations best suited to you.
