The Best Swimwear after Breast Surgery.
Your time to feel body confident.
As the warm weather approaches, and we keep getting those glorious sunshine days, our thoughts rapidly turn to holidays, BBQβs and summer time.
Choosing swimwear can be a stressful time, especially if you have recently had breast implants, breast enlargement surgery or a breast uplift. Youβre a different shape and size since the last time you looked for swimwear and are probably unsure of how to find a suit that makes you feel most confident, or fits your new breast shape.
Here we speak with Rhian Williams, a Red Rose Desire patient who had breast enlargement surgery on the 19th December 2018.
She shares her love of underwear, and recommends the best places to find swimsuits for larger breasts.
Hi Rhian, thank you for joining us today, you look stunning.
Can you tell us more about your surgery, and what impact your surgery has had on your body confidence?
I’m absolutely in love with my new boobs. So many people have complimented me! They look so natural which is what I wanted! I talked through my options with the surgeon and we agreed on 450cc implants under the muscle, they fit my frame perfectly.
My healing time wasnβt too bad, and I cannot fault anything about my surgery and after care.
I now have a lot more confidence in myself, and I feel more womanly.
Do you have plans to go away for the summer?
YES! I have booked to go away, and I canβt wait. I am going away in July for 2 weeks to Tenerife.
Can you offer any advice on the best places to shop for gorgeous swimwear/beachwear β for ladies with larger boobs?
I love halter neck tops as they offer me more support, but still with a feminine style. I also always try to choose tops that fastens with clips rather than just tie, and with thicker straps, which is also great for the extra support.
I have to say Ann summers have some beautiful bikinis, which fit really well, and I also definitely recommend H&M and also Primark.
What is your best swimwear buying tip?
Don’t stress! choosing swimwear is very much like buying underwear, and often the same shops you buy gorgeous bra’s from, also sell bikinis too, in similar styles and shapes you already know and love.Β Stay clear of string or flimsy bra’s, they won’t offer you enough definition or support. Knowing which type of bra you like the most can help you narrow down which swimwear to choose.
Thank you to Rhian for taking time out to speak with us, we are thrilled to see you looking so happy and we wish you lots of years of body confidence! Look out for more Q&A sessions with our patients in the future, and feel free to contact us, if you would like to feature.
