It had been three years since I had last been away on holiday due to Covid and I simply couldn’t wait for the sunshine! My trip to Egypt was booked and a wonderful time was had, however on my return when looking through my holiday snaps, I felt a sudden realisation that my chest had changed and I instantly felt so very unhappy with the shape and position of my breasts.

It all happened quite quickly really, I knew someone who had had a positive surgery experience with Red Rose Desire, and the clinic was very local to me, so I had no doubts they would be the clinic to explore first. I booked a first consultation with the breast surgeon and although he was wonderful, calm, and took his time talking through the procedure and aftercare, I left feeling a little overwhelmed with this newfound information and the options that were now possible for me.

I was not ready to make this decision before asking more questions and so I requested a second consultation, again with Mr. Topps. So patient, kind, and honest, I got most of the answers I needed and felt more in control with the decision I was about to make. In total, I had three appointments with the surgeon to discuss my uplift surgery, and it was agreed that I needed an uplift with implants to get the look and position I desired.

On the morning of surgery, I was apprehensive but reassured after seeing my surgeon and the most amazing nurse Elaine. When I came round in the recovery room, I felt so very sick from the anaesthetic, and disappointingly had to miss my lunch!

My recovery has been much better than I had hoped. I was discharged that day and have pottered at home in between resting and have genuinely felt fine. I took two weeks off work and have coped very well. The pain has been manageable – and it has been a real lifeline knowing that I have my own personal nurse Elaine on call should I need her. The pain medication was making me feel rather sick and so after a quick call and chat with Elaine, we decided to try without them, and everything has been just wonderful since.

I am thrilled with my result and could not recommend Red Rose Desire more. I have felt supported throughout, right from the day of my consultation to the moment I went home post-surgery. I can now enjoy the summer wearing swimwear and backless tops without worrying and this newfound confidence.
